Watch: Documentary About New Windsor Earns Emmy Nomination

"Times Crossroads: The History of New Windsor, MD" has been nominated for an Emmy.

The National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has announced the nomination of Times Crossroads: The History of New Windsor, MD in the Documentary – Historical category.

The Emmy Award is the premier television production award presented in various sectors of the television industry, including entertainment programming, news and documentary shows, and sports programming. The awards are presented in various area-specific ceremonies held annually throughout the year, honoring excellence in television programming.

Boxwood Productions produced the film along with Writer/Producer/Director Frank J. Batavick.

The and the New Windsor Heritage Committee held a premier screening of the documentary at the Committee's 25th Anniversary celebration last November.  The 54th Emmy Awards will be held on June 16 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
