A Culinary Experience

On Monday evening, October 8, 2012, Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS) will host its 13th annual "A Culinary Experience" fundraiser.  The event will be held from 6:00 – 9:00pm at Martin’s Westminster in the 140-Village Shopping Center. The evening will showcase local restaurants, caterers, and bakeries with a sampling of everything from soup to desserts. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on a friendly competition of awards for the restaurants.  Live entertainment will be provided by The Eric Byrd Trio.  Silent and Live auctions will be highlighted with an appearance by special guest auctioneer, Galen Roop.

Tickets are $60 each, with tables of 10 available for $550.  All proceeds benefit Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County.  RCIS is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1978.  The agency provides counseling and support services to people in the community affected by sexual violence.  It also tries to eliminate sexual violence in Carroll County through education and advocacy.  For tickets to “A Culinary Experience” or additional information, contact RCIS at 410-857-0900.
