The Carroll County Arts Council is putting the call out for anyone who is creative, inventive, involved, engaged and likes a challenge.
Artists, decorators, clubs, businesses and schools are invited to participate in the 15th Annual Festival of Wreaths to be held Nov. 24 – Dec. 1 at the Carroll Arts Center in downtown Westminster.
A total of 2,511 unique wreaths have been displayed over the past 14 years and collectively they have raised $242,691 for the organization, according to an Arts Council news release. Previous wreath entries have been adorned with everything from $50 bills, to gemstones, to duct tape, to CROCS shoes, to thumbtacks to wine corks, to peacock feathers, to used auto parts, to golf balls to dog biscuits…and everything in between.
All wreaths must be pre-registered by Friday, November 9 and decorated wreaths must be delivered on Nov. 15,16,17 or 19.
