PHOTOS: 'Hairspray' at Liberty High

TACTICC performs ``Hairspray'' at Liberty High.

The Broadway hit "Hairspray’’ is being performed by The Arts Coming Together in Carroll County at .

The show kicked off this weekend and you still have a chance to see it as it will be performed again next week. The shows are set for 7 p.m. on July 20 and 21 and a 2 p.m. matinee on July 21.

The musical is directed by award-winning director Tony Cimino and stars Rainelle Jochum, Taylor Reiland, Amy Del’Aguila, and Liberty Idol Disney Golden Ticket Winner Katie Haught.  

TACTICC is in its fifth year and features performers from age 11 to 55. The company has local artists throughout the community, featuring performers and designers from , Winters Mill High School, Liberty High School, North Carroll High School, South Carroll High School, Franklin High School, North Carroll Middle School, Oklahoma Road Middle School, Baltimore School for the Performing Arts, Carroll Community College, Salisbury University, and a few adults

Liberty High School is at 5855 Bartholow Road, Eldersburg. Tickets can be purchased from TACTICC’s online box office at www.tacticc.org, or in person Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the TACTICC office located at 1129 Liberty Road, Eldersburg. Tickets can also be brought one hour prior to curtain at Liberty High. Tickets are $9 in advance, $11 students/seniors and $13 adults.
