Business Profile: You've Got it Made

You've Got it Made offers clients creative "out of the box" ideas and promotional materials.

Local business owner Jennifer Matthaei plans to expand her business this winter to include a Virginia location.

You’ve Got it Made is a promotional products business that supplies advertising specialties and imprinted apparel to businesses of all sizes.  The company also provide custom party favors.

"Traveling four days a week was just too much.  I had an opportunity to work for a promotional products distributor and after a myriad of experiences, I had the opportunity in July of 2000 to open my own business,” Matthaei explained.

Matthaei feels she has found her entrepreneurial niche in the promotional products industry.

“This is perfect because I can incorporate my sales training with my artistic creative side,” Matthaei admits.  “Our niche is creativity.  We look for the hottest new items, thinking 'out of the box' to give our clients ideas and products that will make them stand out against their competition,” she said.

In 2010, You've Got it Made received the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award.

Matthaei admits that she loves her business location in Westminster.

“I love the sense of community in Westminster.  I work with several non-profits, as well as, numerous businesses and just love the feel of a community that cares about the community,” she says.

Matthaei recently announced plans to open a second location in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

While there were a number of reasons Matthaei chose Harrisonburg, VA as location for a second branch, a personal reason includes her upcoming spring wedding to her fiancé who works as a professor at James Madison University.  The new location is set to open in January of 2012.

Outside of her business, Matthaei is a registered yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and is currently studying Mediation Facilitation.  She is an art lover and loves to volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
