Carroll Nonprofits Learn Marketing Strategy From Local Experts

The Community Services Council hosted two marketing training sessions for local nonprofit employees Wednesday morning.

David Baker of VoxPop Communications shared his expertise about guerrilla marketing and leveraging social media.

Kelly Heck of InfoPathways offered insights about using photos and video in organizational marketing efforts.

Close to 30 members of Carroll County's nonprofit community attended the free training at the Nonprofit Building on Clifton Blvd. in Westminster.

Next up, the Community Services Council is hosting the Sylvia Canon Humanitarian Award to honor a local nonprofit employee on Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $12 for the breakfast and nominations for the award recipient are being accepted through Oct. 30.
