Westminster has a lot of great businesses, but is there anything missing? A certain type of establishment or a new store?
Built as a school in the late 1800's, the building at the corner of Center and Green Streets became popular as the Westminster Inn and restaurant in the 1990's.
purchased the building for $1 million in 2007 with the intent to turn it into a state of the art child care facility and workout center. Those plans fell through and even though the Y is currently using the building to house some offices, they say the building is still for sale.
