Minnich joins Target Community & Educational Services

Target Community & Educational Services, Inc. (Target) announced that Lauren Minnich has joined its leadership team as a Community Living Director. Minnich will be responsible for the oversight of three Alternative Living Units (ALU) located in Westminster. Target’s ALUs are homes integrated within the community that are occupied by three adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and two Community Living Managers, McDaniel College graduate students fulfilling their academic requirements for a Master’s Degree in Human Services Management at McDaniel College while interning with Target during this two year program to gain real life experiences.

Minnich earned her Master’s Degree in Human Services Management through this program in 1998 and has over ten years’ experience in human services. Coming full circle from graduating from this unique program, gaining additional experiences in the human services field and beginning in her new leadership role as a Community Living Director, Minnich stated that she is “very happy to return to her Target family”.
