Appalachian Brewing Co.

Not too far from Westminster is the Appalachian Brewing Co. in Gettysburg.  Fine brews and food all the time.  The current seasonal is Hinterland Hefeweizen, which is smooth, refreshing, with hints of banana flavor.  I tried the Pilsner as well the other day.  Crisp, clean, and surprising flavor.  As a German beer afficionado, both of these beers rank up there for locally produced brews. 
Appalachian has a great menu, with much to accompany any beer.  One of my favorites is the beer and cheese soup- wow!
