My Tour of the Carroll County Times Newspaper Building

I recently had the opportunity to take a tour of the Carroll County Times Newspaper building. This was the second time I have taken this tour. I also took the tour in two thousand six, and felt at home in the Newsroom. When I took the tour again on Friday October 19, 2012, that same feeling of comfort returned. I met some of the reporters, and observed the paper’s daily operations. I also saw the printing press. I even learned a little about the web site. The Carroll County Times just celebrated their 100th anniversary last year. They even have a room dedicated to the last 100 years. Taking this tour again has re enforced my desire to work in the News business? I have never really wanted to do anything else. I would like to thank Westminster Patch for allowing my voice to be heard on the issues that matter to me and the readers of Patch. I will continue writing articles for Patch, and hopefully someday I will get a paying position doing what I love.
