>> Summer Reading: Don't forget to sign the kids up (any age really, there is even an adult program) for the Summer Reading Program through the Carroll County Public Library System. There are all kinds of incentives and games to keep kids reading this summer. The program started June 1, but kids can sign up and join in any time. There is no cost, it's educational and it will give the kids a summer activity that doesn't include joysticks (they're not called that anymore, are they?) or a tv/computer screen.
