Grab and Go Kids Planner: Spring is in the Air

Fun things to do around town with your family this weekend.

Welcome to this weeks edition of Patch's Grab and Go. This is where you will find kid-friendly events to add to your families calendar for this weekend.

 Where/when: Taneytown Fire Department's Carnival Grounds, Saturday, March 19 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why go: Enjoy an all- you- can- eat  country style breakfast with your family while supporting the local Lions Club.

Pricing: $6.50 adults, $3 children 6-12,  free for kids 5 and under.

 Where/when: Crest Lane School, Westminster, Sunday, March 20 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Why go: Live music by Monte Leister, crafts, face painting and more for the kids to enjoy while the adults in the family shop for items from Tupperware, Usborne Books, Pampered Chef and more.

Pricing: Free admission.

Where/when: Sycamore Height's Farmhouse, Hagerstown, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 18 through March 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why go: Enjoy a trip to Hagerstown to shop for crafts while taking in the sights of the 1860's style farmhouse, Sycamore Height's.

Pricing: Free admission.

Where/when: Carroll County Public Library Westminster Branch, Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m.

Why go: Bring some snacks and drinks from home and enjoy a classic G rated movie with your family.

Pricing: Free admission.

Where/when: Faith Christian School, Westminster, Saturday, March 19 at 4 p.m.

Why go: Eat a plate of spaghetti while bidding on auction items including Disney tickets, restaurant gift certificates, Vera Bradley purses and more.

Pricing: $8 adults, $5 students and ages 3-12, free for children under the age of three.
