Great Escape: Trail Time at Hashawha

Each week, we'll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

This week the escape celebrates Spring’s awakening at . This lush oasis offers 31 miles of trails that spill from woods to meadows. Pack a lunch and sit by a gurgling stream and enjoy beautiful views of rolling farmland. Hashawha’s trails are open to the public from dawn until dusk 365 days a year. There is no entrance fee for the park. On Saturday April 2, enjoy a guided Stream Trail Hike from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. (Fee: $5).
