Carroll County is proud of its soldiers. Here is a Westminster native at work providing maritime security.
Crew chief Sgt. Kurt Udseth, 24, and Westminster, Md., native is seen below flying with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 268 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, here Jan. 6. The 11th MEU is currently deployed as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group as the U.S. Central Command theater reserve force, also providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
