Patch Picks: Celebrate Mother's Day Uniquely

Celebrate outside or inside; celebrate frugally or go all out. Patch pulled together some unique ways to show your mother that you care.

Westminster Flower and Jazz Festival

Sure this event is the day before Mother’s Day, but why not celebrate a day early with something out of the ordinary?  The Westminster Flower and Jazz Festival will be held in downtown Westminster on May 7, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Beside the sounds of Jazz and the beautiful (and sometimes unusual) displays of flowers, there will be scrumptious food choices and unique crafts to purchase.  Moms who visit the information desk will be given a free gift.

Want to get a little exercise with your mom?  Join the Flower and Jazz Fun Run (begins at the Wakefield Valley Community trail on Tahoma Farm Road: donation requested) Parking and admission are free.
Location: Downtown Westminster
