Weekend Weather: Some Snow, Cold Temps

The National Weather Service is forecasting one to two inches of snow for Carroll County Friday night.

There has been a lot of chatter about the possibility of snow this weekend. The National Weather Service reports a 70 percent chance of precipitation Friday night into Saturday.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 50 degrees according to NWS but rain and snow will enter the picture overnight Friday. There is a 70 percent chance of accumulation, all snow after 2 a.m., with one to two inches of accumulation possible.

The NWS reports, "While not particularly heavy, the snow may cause slippery roads and reduced visibilities."

There's a 40 percent chance of snow showers on Saturday with a high near 33 degrees according to NWS.

Sunday is forecast to be blustery and sunny with a high near 29 degrees.
