Westminster Weekend Photo Gallery

It's been cold and wet for, well it seems like a very long time, but Westminster residents continue to get out, have fun and play hard.

On Friday night the St. John's Portico was home to the sold out Celebrate Marriage Dinner hosted by the Marriage Resource Center of Carroll County. Photos of the event were submitted by Kimberly Brooks Photography. 

Winters Mill and Westminster went head to head on the basketball court Friday evening - with the boys teams playing at Westminster and the girls teams playing at Winters Mill. The boys game was taken by Winters Mill with a score of 54-48, and the Lady Owls dominated with a score of 48-45. There are photos of both the boys and girls varsity games. The pictures of the girls games are a courtesy of Bill Ullrich Photography and the boys game photos were taken by a Patch freelance photographer who is also a student at McDaniel - Sam Segal. 

On Saturday, the Winters Mill wrestling team traveled to South Carroll for a tough match, which South Carroll won in the end. Photos are included from the match, taken by Patch freelance writer and photographer George Welty.
