Winter Break Weather: More Snow in the Forecast

The Christmas Eve snow storm may not be the last we see of the white stuff this holiday break.

Snow came hard and fast on Christmas Eve, dropping several inches around Carroll County. Keep the gloves and sleds handy as more wintry weather is in the forecast.

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts Christmas day to be partly cloudy with a high of 42 degrees. There is a Dense Fog Advisory for the area until 8 a.m. Tuesday. We will see a low of 29 degrees Christmas night.

There is a 100 percent chance of a wintry mix on Wednesday with a high of 36 degrees and a low of 35 degrees overnight. Thursday will be partly cloudy and windy with a 20 percent chance of precipitation according to the NWS. Friday will be partly cloudy with a high of 34 degrees and there's a 70 percent chance of snow on Saturday.
