The Fleagle family of Carroll County contributed four sons to the Union cause during the Civil War. Using wartime letters, photographs and artifacts, living historian Hilda Koontz provides a vivid account of the lives of those gallant soldiers and of the family that kept the home fires burning. The program is based on a collection of family letters lovingly preserved for 150 years.
