CCGS's Mid-Summer Genealogical Event

Please join fellow family researchers for an entertaining and
informative program featuring historian and genealogist Mary Mannix. She will offer ideas on how to responsibly distribute the kinds of possessions
genealogists gather over the years, with her talk: “Thinking
About Your Stuff: a Genealogist’s Obligation."
This program is designed for those with concerns about what will happen to their genealogical research, for those with collections of family items, or for anyone who would like to downsize from years of accumulation. Ms. Mannix supervises the Maryland Room, a large collection of historic material at the Frederick County Public Library.

Light refreshments from 10:00 to 10:30 followed by the presentation
