CHALK ART FESTIVAL~Chalk It Up To Faith

CHALK ART FESTIVAL

 "CHALK IT UP TO FAITH"

New Windsor Presbyterian Church will host a CHALK ART FESTIVAL called Chalk It Up To Faith  for the benefit of The Shepherd's Staff "Back To School Program," which provides free school essentials for the many Carroll County students in need.

Chalk Art is a tradition that dates back to the Renaissance, when street artists and festivals were an important part of community life. We would like to revive this tradition, but it is not just about the art. By joining us in this endeavour, you'll be supporting our goal to raise funds for kids in need, while supporting the arts at the same time!

So come on out and channel your inner Michaelangelo or Picasso and create your own masterpiece...or just have a bit of old-fashioned fun drawing on the sidewalk, all while helping children in your community acheive great things in school!

Registration
  • Register on arrival. Children under 18 are free.
  • Adults 18 and over are asked to donate a free-will love offering of their choice. Bear in mind that all proceeds go directly to Shepherd's Staff for the Back to School Program.
  • Registered participants will receive a bag of chalk and a section of sidewalk to create their design of choice. (please feel free to bring your own chalk, but you will still need to register).
  • Spaces given on a first-come, first-serve basis and their will be spots that have been pre-reserved.
  • Complimentary refreshments will be available, but bringing extra water to stay hydrated, as well as sunscreen is recommended.
  • Any us of profane or inappropriate images, words, logos and the like, that are not family friendly will not be allowed.
                                      Hope to see you there!
