Chamber Music on the Hill Presents The Westminster Trio

This concert will include Cecile
Chaminade’s Piano Trio #1 and Gabriel
Fauré’s Piano Quartet in C Minor. Meet the musicians at a free reception immediately following the concert.

The Westminster Trio’s dynamic performances have
delighted audiences throughout and beyond the Mid-Atlantic region. Violinist, Melissa Zaraya, long-time member of the
Baltimore Symphony Orchestra has also
performed extensively in the United States, South America, Spain, and the Far
East. Cellist Esther Mellon joined
the Buffalo Philharmonic before
coming to the Baltimore Symphony. She
has performed in concerts and music festivals throughout the U.S. In 1982, she
was awarded a grant from the Kennedy
Center Committee for Cultural Diversity in the Arts
Dr. David Kreider, McDaniel College Faculty member, is the
founder and Artistic Director of Chamber Music on the Hill.  In 1986 he presented his debut recital at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and has been
performing solo and with duos and trios ever since. His repertoire includes
Mozart to 20th century jazz and much in between. Guest Violist Renate Falkner comes to us from the University of Northern Florida where she
teaches viola and chamber music. A former member of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, she regularly performs with the Baltimore Symphony, and has performed
across the U.S. and abroad.
