BB&T Presents the 14th Annual Taste of Carroll

As one of Carroll County's premier fundraising events, Taste of Carroll helps support the vital programs and services provided by Carroll Hospice.

The 14th Annual Taste of Carroll will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, and will feature a festive food and wine tasting from the region's finest restaurants and wineries as well as a silent auction. Since its inception 14 years ago, Taste of Carroll has raised more than $1 million dollars for Carroll Hospice.

Tickets are also available for a private VIP reception to be held at 5pm prior to the general tasting event. The reception will feature special guest Josh Rosen, executive chef and owner of Charm School Chocolates, a dairy-free and vegan chocolate company, and 2012 winner of The Food Network’s “Sweet Genius” competition.

Tickets for the Taste of Carroll general tasting are $75 each; tickets for the VIP reception and general tasting are $150 each. Tickets can be purchased online at www.CarrollHospice.org/taste-of-carroll or by calling the Hospice Development office at 410-871-7220.

The restaurants and wineries that will be offering food and beverage samplings at this year’s event will include: Baldwin’s Station, Basignani Winery, Baugher’s Restaurant, Blue Bistro and Catering, Boordy Vineyards, Brightview Westminster Ridge, Bud’s at Silver Run, Buffalo Wild Wings, Carroll Hospital Center, Carroll Lutheran Village, Chick-fil-a, County Cork Wine Pub, Cygnus Wine Cellars, Elk Run Vineyards, Galloping Goose Vineyards, Giulianova Groceria, The Greene Turtle – Westminster, Gypsy’s Tearoom & CUP Tea, J Café, Johansson’s, Just Desserts by Linda, Liberatore’s Westminster, Linganore Winecellars, Maggie’s Restaurant, The Mt. Airy Tavern, O’Lordan’s, Paradiso, Rafael’s Restaurant, Salsarita’s, Santoni’s, Sideways Café, Stables Restaurant, Starry Night Bakery and Woodhall Wine Cellars.
