Distinguished Young Women of Carroll County Scholarship Program

The Distinguished Young Women of Carroll County Scholarship Program is seeking current high school juniors (Class of 2014) to compete for significant college scholarships and the opportunity to advance to the state finals.  The program will be held at Francis Scott Key High School on Sunday, Feb 24 at 3:30pm.


To Pre-Register go online at www.distinguishedyw.org.  There will be a mandatory orientation and rehearsal on Feb 8 at the Carroll Non Profit Center, 255 Clifton Blvd, Westminster from 6:30-8:30 pm.  All online registration and paperwork is due by Feb 8 and can be turned in at that meeting. After pre-registering online a local director will call you to answer any questions and to complete your registration.  For information call Carrah Myers Holmes, co chair at 410 756-1530.


Current Local title holders for 2013 are: Carli Shaw, a senior at Wesminster High School and Kaelly Miller a senior at Century High School.  The Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program is a Fund of the Community Foundation of Carroll County.
