Holiday of Trees, Wreaths & Centerpieces Hosted by Taneytown History Museum

The Taneytown History Museum is hosting the 8th Annual Holiday of Trees, Wreaths, and Centerpieces.  Individuals, businesses, and organizations decorate 2 foot trees, wreaths, and centerpieces and donate the decorated items to a silent auction to benefit the Taneytown History Museum.  Decorated items will be voted on by the general public during the event.  The items will be displayed at New Windsor State Bank December 2 - 21 during the following hours:  Mondays to Thursdays 9 am - 4 pm; Fridays 9 am to 6 pm; Saturdays 9 am - 12 Noon. Entertainment will be provided during some of the hours.  A collection box will be placed by each item and monetary donations will be used as the voting system.  1 penny = 1 vote, 1 quarter = 25 votes.  Voting concludes at 11:30 am on December 21st,  winners will be announced at 11:45 am.  Raffle prize winners will occur immediately following the awards.
