"Pancreatic cancer is one of the most difficult cancers to diagnose, oftentimes not detected until the most advanced stages. An estimated 44,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year; of those patients, 94% will die within five years of diagnosis and 74% will die within the first year. It is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the U.S.
Please join us in helping Wendy Barnes in her battle against Pancreatic Cancer. On Friday and Saturday, August 23rd and 24th, The Stables at Westminster will be hosting a fundraising event with proceeds going toward the expenses/care of Wendy Barnes. We’ll have a silent auction of Baltimore Raven’s items, 50/50 raffles, basket auctions and more! Slim Jimmy band will be rockin’ all weekend to keep you dancing during this worthwhile event. Show your support by participating in the auctions and raffles and by wearing purple, the color to support the fight against pancreatic cancer."
