Walk Carroll Kick-off Event

Walk Carroll is a free
walking program for anyone who lives, works, or worships in Carroll
County.  All ages and physical activity
levels are encouraged to participate. 
The program consists of an online registration via the Walk Maryland
Website created by the University of Maryland Extension Office in which
participants log their miles walked as well as the opportunity to attend many
walking events around the county. 
Participants are encouraged to make their own personal walking goals,
log them on the website, and attend walking events to receive support,
information, and giveaways.  The program
is kicking off on Saturday, April 5, 2014. 
Join us at the Carroll County Farm Museum any time from 9am- 12pm for
guided walks of varying speeds and levels, activities for children, health
information, local resources, social support in getting active, healthy snacks,
t-shirts, pedometers, and other free items! For more information on events and
