MCVET 17TH ANNUAL 5/10K RUN

MARYLAND CENTER FOR VETERANS EDUCATION AND TRAINING, INC. 17th ANNUAL 5K/10K RUN/WALK

BALTIMORE --- May 27th, 2012 – 5K 7:30 a.m. /10K 8:30 a.m.  The MCVET 5K/10K Race is looking for runners and walkers!   The amateur race begins and ends at the War Memorial Park near City Hall in Baltimore, Maryland.  Every runner receives a race T-shirt.  The race has over 400 participates and raises approximately $30,000 for the shelter.

The proceeds benefit the Maryland Center for Veterans Education & Training, Inc. (MCVET) which was incorporated in 1993 to provide homeless veterans and other veterans in need with comprehensive services that will enable them to rejoin their communities as productive citizens.  To learn more about MCVET visit our website at www.mcvet.org

 

Awards ceremony (cash awards and age group awards-medals/trophies) immediately following each race.  Random awards available. You must be present to win.   Awards include gift certificates, free weekend get-a-ways and much more. Refreshments will be provided.  This is an AMB Chip Timing race provided by Charm City Run.
