Wreaths Bring Joy to Community, Raise Money for Arts Programs

There were six People's Choice winners in this year's 16th Annual Festival of Wreathes at the Carroll Arts Center.

The Festival of Wreathes at the Carroll County Arts Council has become a holiday tradition in Carroll County. 

According to the Arts Council, 2,500 people visited the Arts Council to see the 150 festive wreathes. 

The Festival of Wreathes allows members of the community -- individuals, businesses and organizations -- to create fun, quirky, innovative wreathes that are put on display for the community to enjoy. The best part of the event however is the fact that people can bid on the wreathes (many of which also come with gift certificates, event tickets and other goodies) and the proceeds from those sales go to fund arts programs in Carroll County. 

This year the Festival raised $15,700. The following wreathes received recognition:

  • Razzle Dazzle Candy Land – Boys & Girls Club of Westminster
