Fallfest, Romeo & Juliette, Craft Beer and Bike for Wine This Weekend in Carroll County

There is no shortage of fun in Carroll County this weekend. What will you get into?

33rd Westminster FallFest
Where: Westminster City Park and Longwell parking lot
When: Sat. 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sun. Noon to 6 p.m.
What: Carnival rides, live entertainment, and great food. On Saturday and Sunday enjoy over 100 crafters and commercial vendors. No pets please. 

Apple Festival at Piney Run
Where: Piney Run Park, 30 Martz Rd., Sykesville
When: Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What: Vendors, food, scarecrow making, crafts, hay rides, and much more! Park Entrance fees apply. No pets allowed.

Midnight Madness
Where: Downtown Westminster Main Street, E & W Main, Liberty, John and Bond Sts.
What: Friday, Sept. 28 from 6 p.m. to midnight
What: Shopping and dining to midnight in downtown Westminster, live music performances, karaoke, car show and much more!

Romeo & Juliet
Where: Carroll Arts Center, 91 West Main St., Westminster
When: Sept. 29 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
What: The National Players, the longest running professional touring theatre company, return to the Arts Center for their annual performance of Shakespeare Classics.

Caroll County Craft Beer Festival
Location: Agriculture Center, Shipley Arena 706 Agriculture Center Dr., Westminster

Maryland Microbrewery Festival
Where: Union Mills Homestead, 3311 Littlestown Pike, Westminster
When: Saturday, Sept. 29 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
What: Tasting of Maryland microbrews, entertainment, crafts and food.

Bike to Bordeaux
Where: Linganore Winecellars, 13601 Glissans Mill Rd., Mt. Airy
When: Saturday, Sept. 29 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: Ride an 18, 35 or 65 mile route through the countryside of Frederick and Carroll Counties. After crossing the finish line at Linganore Winecellars, cyclists enjoy a complimentary lunch and wine sampling!
