Downtown Westminster, various locations: Paint Out Westminster Plein Air Event, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., (410) 848-7272. Watch artists as they create new works of art on the streets of Downtown Westminster during this first Plein Air event to coincide with the Westminster Flower & Jazz Festival. Stop by the Carroll County Arts Council booth during Flower & Jazz for artist locations. The final pieces of art will be on display in the Community Gallery of the Carroll Arts Center from May 17 to June 11.

Main Street: , 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 1st Block of East & West Main Street, (410) 857-9072. Over 100 flower, food and gift vendor booths will line Main Street for you to find the perfect Mother’s Day present. Live jazz and swing music will be presented on 2 stages all day. Swing dancing demonstrations will occur on the Booth Memorial Stage from 10 a.m. until noon. As always, there will be a free plant at the Information Booth for all Moms who attend the festival. Come join in the fun!
