Blog: Downtown Westminster Announces Inaugural Restaurant Week

Downtown Westminster announces its Downtown Restaurant Week, April 20 - 28.

Downtown Westminster is alive with a varied array of great restaurants. From Irish and Italian to Mexican and All-American, it's a veritable "EPCOT Center" -- without ever leaving the city limits.  To celebrate all that the downtown eateries have to offer, the City of Westminster’s downtown promotions team is proud to announce its first annual Restaurant Week. This 8-day event, taking place which will take place from April 20 to 28, will span over two weekends.

Twelve of downtown's best restaurants will provide fixed price meal specials. Unique breakfast treats are available at Heinz Bakery, delicious lunch breaks abound at Giulianova's, J Cafe and Birdie's Cafe, and incredible, multiple course dinners are offered at Maggie's, Johansson Dining House and Papa Joe's. And that's just the start of the epicurean delights you'll find at the participating restaurants.

Most eateries are offering their specialty items as a way to thank their
customers for their business – and to entice new visitors to try their food. All meal specials end in 12 cents, as a tribute both to the year 2012 and the number of restaurants participating.
