In 1986, Tony D’Eugenio opened Westminster’s first Italian grocery store.  Since that time, his recipes have become a legend to local Italian food lovers.  Today, his recipes live on at Giulianova Italian Deli. When owner Billy Schroeder purchased Guilianova in 2003, he made sure not to deviate from the principle of providing the finest quality Italian goods.  Today, while Giulianova menu has greatly expanded, Billy delivers food with the same Italian gusto that made Tony so popular.

Authentic Mexican Cuisine: Mexican Restaurant

27 East Main Street      410.871.2505

Papa Joe's burst of festive décor and homemade tortilla chips happily overflowing the basket on your table at arrival will convince you that you that you just walked into a cozy cantina in Mexico. Thanks to Trish Alejandrez and her family, you can travel to Oaxaca without ever leaving the City limits.

The restaurant opened in the space just behind Main Street in Spring 2007, and has been an extremely popular destination ever since. All of Papa Joe’s dishes are cooked from authentic recipes handed down from the owner’s grandmother, and everything is made from scratch. The restaurant is named in honor of Alejandrez’s husband’s grandfather, who was known throughout his community as a wonderful chef.  Alejandrez and her husband live up to his reputation and create incredible Mexican favorites like enchiladas, quesadillas, and tacos six days a week.  And of
course, the margaritas are at once delicious and dangerous – they cool down the
spice and wash away the salty fare with ease.

During Restaurant Week, Papa Joe’s offers the following menu selections:

Combination Appetizer Platter: Bottle Caps, Chicken Quesadilla and Beef Taquitos, $10.12

Seafood Burrito with Rice & Beans: $10.12

Shrimp Diabla with Rice & Beans: $15.12
