Blog: Restaurant Week Restaurant Profiles, Part Three

Check out the great downtown restaurants offering amazing lunch and dinner specials during Restaurant Week.

It’s now day five of Downtown Westminster Restaurant Week. But don’t despair – Restaurant Week goes through Saturday night, so there’s still time to have a special meal at a special price!

In this installment, it's time to profile some incredible venues for lunch and dinner. Most have outdoor spaces to enjoy your meals al fresco – and all have great wine lists (and fun beer selections) to bolster your meal experience with a touch of the grape (or barley). It may be a good idea to call ahead and reserve your table -- with such delicious entrees it's going to get busy!

65 W. Main Street  410.848.7080

Harry’s Main Street Grille started as a destination hot dog stand in 1946 by the Sirinakis family.  Now, 66 years later, this American grille is in its third generation of ownership by Harry Sirinakis. Harry’s signature hot dog is still among its most popular selections and served Coney Island style with chili, mustard and onions.  The dogs are delicious enough to ask for more -- but don't you dare ask for sauerkraut, which is verboten on the frankfurters! The restaurant was expanded to house meetings and to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Breakfast is always a hit here, with fresh coffee and omelets made to order. For lunch and dinner, other American favorites are on the menu in addition to hot dogs, including juicy burgers, cheesy paninis and the satisfying and savory meatloaf for a taste of
mom’s home kitchen.

20 Distillery Drive 410.876.1421

During World War II, the Sherwood Distillery’s Glass House was built to serve as an area to recover cattle feed from mash used in whiskey production. Whiskey can still be found in some of the fun drinks served at Paradiso, but the restaurant’s beautiful and romantic atmosphere is a far cry from the building’s humble beginnings. Since opening Paradiso Ristorante in 1992, owner and chef Salvatore Romeo has been serving authentic Italian dishes using fresh herbs and ingredients with the passion of his Italian heritage. It’s an incredible destination for a romantic meal or birthday celebration. And as our spring evenings warm up, it's easy to dine under the stars with a exquisite meal on the Paradiso patio.

During Restaurant Week, Paradiso offers a four course, prix fixe menu for the cost of $25.12 per person:

First Course:

Bruchette or cup of Italian Wedding Soup

Salad Course:

Side house or Caesar salad

Entrée Selections:

Pollo Capricossa
Salmone Piccata
Bistecca Fiorentina

Vitella Saltimbocca
Fettuccini Granchio

Desserts:

Profiteroles, Triple Chocolate Mousse, Carrot Cake or Gelato
