Why is sun not enough for getting your vitamin D?

While everyone has told you to protect yourself from sun damage and skin cancer with sunscreen, you may not be getting enough Vitamin D3 as a result. Doctors say, Vitamin D is essential for bone health and overall wellness. It’s created when the body absorbs the sun’s UV rays, but wearing sunscreen does affect its creation in the body. And because sunscreen is important to keep skin conditions like acne, hyper-pigmentation, aging and skin cancer at bay, healthy skin starts from the inside out using an oral supplement like Maximum D3, the most absorbable form of Vitamin D.

So practice safe sun, but make sure you are getting enough Vitamin D3!
