Maryland State Police said 81-year-old Henry Lee Cote of Reisterstown was ejected from his pickup truck.

UPDATED—An 81-year-old Reisterstown man was killed Saturday when he was ejected from his pickup truck after an accident on Interstate 83 near the Shawan Road exit.

Maryland State Police identified the driver of the truck as Henry Lee Cote and said he was the only person in the vehicle. The accident, which closed all northbound lanes on I-83, occurred on Saturday morning.

Cote had just passed a red Ford Explorer with Pennsylvania plates when the rear of his car clipped the front of the Explorer. Cote's car overturned, ejecting the Reisterstown man onto the highway, a police spokesman said.
