Bank Robber on the Loose

The Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help finding the bank robber.

An Eldersburg bank was robbed Thursday morning, and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents for help to identify the robber.

According to a statement released by the Sheriff’s Office, a man entered the Bank of America in the 6400 block of Ridge Road at about 9:20 a.m. The man showed a handgun and demanded money, according to the statement.

He did not hurt anyone, and left the bank on foot, with an “undisclosed” amount of money.
