Frederick Man Stabbed at Westminster Town Mall

A Westminster man has been charged with first and second-degree assault.

The stabbing took place in the lot outside the movie theater.

According to a news release, when police arrived, they found that Dominic Miller, 23, from Frederick, had been stabbed in the abdomen. He was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

Police said the suspect, Michael Fisher Jr., 19, of Westminster, has been charged with first and second-degree assault.

Captain Pete D'Antuono said that Miller was in critical condition after surgery Monday night and is in surgery again Tuesday.
