Jumper Commits Suicide on 795

A male committed suicide by jumping off a bridge onto I-795 in Owings Mills Monday night.

At 9:36 p.m., a man jumped from the Pleasant Hill Road bridge onto 795 Northbound, Maryland State Police Sgt. Arthur Horton said.

Northbound traffic on the roadway was at a stand-still just before 10 p.m. and other motorists were being directed off the freeway via the Owings Mills Boulevard exit. Southbound traffic was not stopped. Police were still at the scene at 10:50 p.m., Horton said.
