Police Investigate Home Invasion, Robbery in Westminster

Police report that the victim was not injured during the event.

The Westminster Police Department's Criminal Investigations Bureau is currently investigating a reported home invasion and robbery on the 400 block of Mathias Court at 7:30 p.m. Monday, according to a news release. 

The news release reports that the victim said a black male and a white male forced their way into the home and demanded cash. The victim turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspects and the suspects fled, according to the release. 

The suspects are described in the release as a black male, approximately 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches in height, 180 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and a white male, approximately 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 inches in height, 170 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

The victim was not injured in the incident, according to the news release.

Police are asking citizens with information about the suspects' identities to notify Detective Jeffrey Schuster, Criminal Investigations Bureau, Westminster Police Department at 410-848-4646.
