Police Investigate Robbery at New Windsor State Bank, Again

The bank on Main Street in New Windsor has been robbed twice in a week.

The New Windsor State Bank on Main Street in New Windsor has been robbed twice in a week, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. 

Police are investigating a robbery that took place just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. 

A white male, approximately 60-years-old, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, medium build, wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, sunglasses, and a baseball cap, entered the bank and handed a note to a bank teller demanding money, police said.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man exited the bank on foot traveling South on Main Street, police said. 

Surveillance photos from the Bank were not immediately available for release, Patch will update the story when they are made available.

Police are still looking for a female who robbed the bank on Sept. 18, police said. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to her arrest and conviction.
