Police Nab Second Suspect in New Windsor Bank Robbery

Police said the woman was involved with robbing the same New Windsor bank twice in less than a week.

Police arrested a second suspect in the robbing of the New Windsor State Bank twice in less than a week. 

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, detectives from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office identified the female suspect in the New Windsor State Bank robberies that occurred on Sept. 18 and Sept. 24, according to police. 

An arrest warrant was issued for the suspect, Deanna Lorraine Dodd, 35, with a last known address in Baltimore.

With assistance from the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team and the Montgomery County Police Department, Dodd was located and arrested on the morning of Sept. 26 at a motel in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Takoma Park, police said.

Police said Dodd was transported back to Carroll County where she confessed to her involvement in both New Windsor State Bank robberies. Dodd was charged with:
