Police Say Inmate Died of Apparent Suicide
Police report that an inmate at the Carroll County Detention Center died as a result of self inflicted wounds.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office reports that Carroll County Detention Center inmate Gregory Green of New Windsor died at the University of Maryland Hospital on Saturday in an apparent suicide.
According to police reports, Green died as a result of self-inflicted injuries sustained at the detention center on March 21.
He was taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy. Police say the investigation continues.
