Police Search for Suspects who Robbed Texas Roadhouse at Gunpoint

Two suspects remain at large.

Westminster police are searching for two men who robbed the Texas Roadhouse restaurant just after midnight Saturday, July 2. 

Capt. Gerry Frischkorn of the Westminster Police Department told Patch that a dishwasher taking out the trash through a service door was accosted and forced back into the restaurant by the suspects, who were holding guns.  

According to a news release, after the suspects entered the restaurant, employees were ordered to the ground and the manager was forced to access the office safe where one of the suspects retrieved an undisclosed amount of money. Both suspects then left the restaurant through the rear service door and fled in an unknown direction.

Frischkorn said that there were 11 total employees in the building at the time of the robbery, including the manager. There were no injuries.

A witness observed a dark colored vehicle quickly leave the parking area of the elementary school adjacent to the rear of the Texas Roadhouse, according to the news release.

The news release describes the suspects as follows: 

Suspect #1:

  • Possible white male w/ tan or dark skin
  • Approximate height: 5’6” to 5’10”
  • Medium build
  • Age range: late teens to mid twenties
  • Black hooded sweatshirt/jacket; with no distinctive markings
  • Black bandana covering his face
  • Black gloves
  • Dark colored pants

 

Suspect #2:

  • Possible white male w/ tan or dark skin
  • Approximate height: 5’6” to 5’10”
  • Medium build
  • Age range: late teens to mid twenties
  • Black hooded sweatshirt/jacket; with no distinctive markings
  • Blue bandana covering his face
  • Black gloves
  • Dark colored pants
