Sheriff's Investivate Saturday Morning Stabbing

Two young men were stabbed during a fight on Hoke Road, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Two young men were stabbed on Hoke Road early Saturday morning and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating suspects. 

According to a statement released by the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to more than one 911 call about a fight in progress just after 3 a.m. Saturday.

When deputies arrived at the 1600 block of Hoke Road, according to the statement, they found a large party and a 19-year-old male, bloodied with several stab wounds to his hips and thighs.

Deputies determined that the victim had been stabbed while trying to break up a fight at the party. Later in the day, sheriff’s detectives encountered the second victim at the Carroll County Hospital Center. The 18-year-old male had been stabbed on his left side.

Police did not provide suspect descriptions, and the investigation is ongoing.
