Sept. 8: Annual Emergency Services Exercise at Carroll Community College

There will appear to be an emergency event at Carroll Community College on Sept. 8, but don't worry, it's a planned exercise.

On Saturday, Sept. 8 the Office of Public Safety Support Services will conduct an annual exercise designed to evaluate county emergency service operations.

This exercise will involve multiple disciplines within the county emergency services community and the results will be used to enhance the coordination of those services and improve the capabilities of the respective participants.

In order to evaluate the participants in a realistic setting, residents in the vicinity of Carroll Community College should expect to see emergency personnel and vehicles and what appears to be an emergency event in progress. This is normal for an exercise of this type. Anyone who has concerns should call Scott Campbell at 410-386-2297 for further information.
