Westminster Police Investigate Bond Street Burglary

Police are searching for a suspect in the burglary or attempted burglary of two homes on Bond Street.

The Westminster Police Department is investigating two related residential burglaries that occurred on Bond Street during the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 26.

According to a news release, a resident called the police after an unknown subject tried to break in through an open window. The resident was able to scare the suspect away.

Later in the morning, a neighbor of the initial victim reported that property was missing from his or her residence. Part of the missing property from the second victim was recovered at the scene of the initially reported incident.

Investigators believe both incidents are related to the same suspect. No description of the suspect is available at this time.

The Westminster Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the identity, arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for these incidents.
