Westminster Police Offer Up Award for Robbery Information

The Westminster Police Department is offering up a $2,500 award to anyone with information on the suspect involved in a December armed pharmacy robbery.

The Westminster Police Department is on the hunt for anyone with information that could lead to the successful capture of a suspect involved in the December armed robbery of a city pharmacy.

According to a dept. press release, Crime Stoppers has teamed up with police in offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect responsible in the Dec. 30 armed robbery of Anchor Pharmacy & Medical Supply, 205 Washington Heights Medical Center Dr.

Police state that the crime occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m.

During the incident, the suspect entered the pharmacy through the front door and demanded prescription medicine. The suspect then fled the site after obtaining an undetermined amount of the drugs, the release states.  

Police are describing the suspect as a 6 foot, white male, weighing approximately 250 lbs.  At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a dark knit hat, a black ski mask, a dark blue sweatshirt and sweatpants.

According to the press release, investigators believe the same suspect may be responsible for robbing the same location on Oct. 24, 2011.
