Carroll County Wants You to Consider Tree-Cycling

The Carroll County Department of Public Works encourages tree recycling with their special program.

Wondering what to do with your tree now that Christmas is over?

After the holiday, consider giving your tree a second life as compost, mulch or chips to be used later in a garden or in a landscape project.

Trees ground into mulch provide good ground cover that reduces soil erosion, deters weed growth and conserves water in landscaping.
