Jan. 6: 'Get Business Now' Seminar at Carroll Community College

Secretary Christian Johansson, of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, will be delivering the keynote address.

The Carroll County Board of Commissioners, the Carroll Community College, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Economic Development will be hosting the "Get Business Now" seminar on Friday, Jan. 6.

The event will be held at Carroll Community College Scott Center Theater.

The event is free and will feature six locally known business professionals that will explain how to “Get It Right” by using business strategies that succeed, how to “Get Known” by making your unique message stand out and how to “Get Connected” by creating new opportunities and using new resources.

Individuals interested in attending are asked to pre-register with the Carroll Community College by either calling 410-386-8095 or registering on-line at www.carrolltraining.com/summit/

Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. and the program will run from 8:45 a.m. until 3 p.m. Attendees are invited to remain for the entire event, but may choose to only attend the segments of the program most relevant to their business.
